Shell
Specifications - utilizes a 2.2 mm polymer shell
(posted in a neutral position) that never loses shape
or memory.
Top Cover - provided with a 1/16" cellular
sponge under layer for shock absorption, and a 3/16"
plastozoteŽ upper layer to mold and accommodate the bony
prominences of the diabetic and arthritic foot.
Therapeutic Benefits - the orthotic shell
provides mild arch support (fascia support), promoting
better foot alignment. The 2.2 mm polymer shell provides
mild arch support (fascia support) and control. This helps
keep the feet in a neutral position, controlling abnormal
pronation (inward motion) and related foot problems. The
plastozote® upper layer top cover molds and accommodates
the bony prominences of the diabetic or arthritic foot.
